The ruins of the medieval castle, built between the 11th, 12th and 13th century, with their gloomy, impressive mass, emphasized by rough accumulation of slate, about dominate the green gesnesteld valley which is located in a loop,, formed by the Ourthe and the steep slopes of Deisterberg.
It is a feudal castle from the 9th century. the towers, bring the loopholes and dungeons you back into the medieval atmosphere of yesteryear.
To go to the castle, , head to Place du Marché where a small, narrow street is (the entrance is indicated) that leads to the top with steps.
